community food Pantry
The NDH Food Pantry is stocked with donated non-perishable food items. By leveraging our partnerships with business, faith-based, non-profit and other organizations, we are able to positively, and significantly, impact neighbors with great partners such as the Food Bank for the Heartland and Saving Grace.
Poor nutrition is a major cause of health problems and can contribute to falls as well as both physical and cognitive impairments. Mobility limitations and other problems can interfere with an elder’s ability to shop for groceries or prepare meals.
